Skills:
- Demonstrated experience in research & information gathering.
- Demonstrated experience with digital content, including appraisal, development & on boarding of all digital collections in emerging areas of DST research.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Developing & implementing strategies, policies & procedures for acquisitions, collection development & content management.
- Provide first point of contact for a number of customers, vendors and industry partners, working to establish productive working relationships to facilitate contracts for digital products & services.
- Represent DST in consortia & standing offer activities.
- Manage the procurement of all digital content, including but not limited to negating publishing models & pricing structures, interpreting risk & ensuring of copyright & usages terms & conditions, ordering & arranging activation of resources.
- Contributing to digital content budget, future financial planning, monitoring spending & providing high level reports.
- Collaborate with RIS team in relation to trials, implementation of resources, improvements to connectivity & use of RIS' digital content & discovery tools.
- Review & utilise analytical tools to ensure return on investment & drive business improvement across RIS.
- Work on/lead complex projects to improve researcher experience across networks, platforms & devices.
